Our team works closely with you in the lead-up to your retreat, offering tailored support, including marketing content and multi-level promotion to help you attract the right participants. Once your retreat begins, we handle the rest, ensuring that both you and your guests enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Shared Spaces

The Jungle Nest

The Jungle Nest is the heart of Protopia—a spacious, open gathering space where the communal kitchen, dining area, cozy chill zone, mezzanine, 2 dry toilets and an open shower.

With multiple seating areas, some overlooking lush gardens and others offering breathtaking views all the way to Lake Nicaragua, it’s designed to keep you close to nature. Its open layout makes every moment special, whether it’s sunshine or rain outside.

Ceremonial Fireplace

Protopia’s ceremonial fireplace is surrounded by Acai palms, mango trees and rambutans.

It fits over over 40 people and it’s a great place for ceremonies. Protopia has another smaller fireplace near the kitchen for relaxing next to the fire after a long day.

Yoga Shala

With the view of the Tenorio Volcano and Lake Nicaragua, Yoga Shala is a perfect place to begin the day.

The Yoga Shala has the capacity for 40 people

and it has one private bathroom.

Accomodation

Cabins

1 private cabin with private shower and

water toilet, enclosed completely with glass.

The cabin has one double bed, with an option

to add another bed if necessary.

1 house near the main space, with private

shower and water toilet. Organisers can use

both as they wish.

Rooms

9 private rooms with electricity

and internet, 2 outdoor compost

toilets and 2 hot showers.

Dorms

1 dorm with 5 bunk beds (10 people)

with electricity and internet outdoor

compost toilets and hot showers.

(An additional dorm is used by our

on-site supporting team)

Accomodation & Food Prices

$1333 per night, exclusive use of our Retreat Center, along with accommodation in two private cabins, 9 rooms and 1 dorm and three vegetarian meals for up to 15 individuals.

An additional charge of $80 for each extra person per night. (Accommodation and food)

For groups exceeding 15 people, we offer complimentary hosting

for 2 facilitators.

14% sales tax not included.

Payment and Cancellation

1st Payment

$1000 deposit due upon making reservation. This will also serve as damage deposit, and returned post event.

This deposit is

2nd Payment

Second 20% deposit

is due 120 days

prior to the event.

This deposit is

non refundable.

3rd Payment

Another 20% of payment

to be paid 60 days

before the event.

This deposit is

non refundable.

4th Payment

The remaining 60% of

payment to be paid

21 days before the event.

This deposit is

non refundable.

Notes

Payment is to be received in cash, wise transfer or bank transfer Cancellations due to border closers similar to that of covid19 will be fully refunded. We reserve the right to cancel events that do not follow our payment schedule.

Transportation to Protopia

Protopia is located 3.5 hours by car from SJO airport and 2 hours from Liberia Airport.

We have trusted local drivers that offer private trasportation from both airports.
